Telecentros Brasil, with funds provided by the UK based Regency Foundation Networx, maintains a telecoms/ computer-literacy room in the Guaianases district of São Paulo and intends to set up 70 job training centers in low income communities. Another undertaking currently under negotiation is the installation of 60 PC's in subway stations, under the sponsorship of the M.Officer clothing company.

Upon completion of the 32 hour Telecentros IT courses based on case studies from Regency's Telecommunications in Action publication, students receive a diploma issued in conjunction with the local University, UNICSUL. This certificate can prove vital in an individual's success when looking for a job especially in a region where 2,700 applications were received for 200 jobs when a new supermarket opened recently.
