Responsible Business Television Series ONE

The sustainable management of our natural resources is vital if we’re to maintain the health of our environment and meet the growing global pressures on our food and resource supply. This series investigated how corporations are involved in the protection and conservation of some of the world’s resources.

More than one-fifth of the world’s population lack access to safe drinking water. The series explored how companies are implementing solutions for the conservation and development of global water resources.

New technologies and their impact on economic development, education and healthcare create severe challenges of access and exclusion. The series showed how business is rising to this challenge and trying to bridge the digital divide.

The series also investigates what industry is doing to reduce its carbon footprint, reviewed the latest innovations in energy solutions and considered the business case for green power. The series further explored how companies are working hard to manage their supplier network ethically and examined business driven enterprise solutions to empower the poor.

These were some of the key themes explored in each episode of Responsible Business, a television series featuring corporations partnering with government, NGOs and civil society. These multi-sector partnerships are absolutely necessary as it’s increasingly becoming clear that no one sector in society can deliver the complexities of sustainable development alone.

The series was broadcast across Asia, Europe, USA and Latin America.
